Stephanie Bosco-Ruggiero of The Garrison Institute's Hudson River Project wanted me to share this exciting information for the members of The RENEWAL Project.
The mission of the Hudson River Project is to midwife the creation of a vibrant network of faith communities, environmental organizations, and engaged citizenry in the Hudson Valley region to address environmental challenges of the 21st century. HRP has produced a series of 16 public conversations, consultations with faith leaders, and community celebrations, all centered on a faith and values-based environmental ethic and local action campaigns. It created a powerful statement of principles and call to action, Our Common Nature: A Hudson River Compact, which has to date been signed by 175 congregations and individuals. Please go to
http://www.garrisoninstitute.org/programs.php?type=transformation_ecology&proj=HRP for further information about HRP and the Garrison Institute.
HRP is coordinating a series of screenings of RENEWAL at local houses of worship and environmental organizations in the Hudson Valley. To schedule a screening through HRP please contact stephanie@garrisoninstitute.org.
